| | Experience: | John joined Butler Rubin in 2009 after working as a litigation associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins LLP. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including reinsurance.
John had substantial work experience before practicing law. From 1992-1995, he served as a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Rep. John Porter (IL), a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee. From 1997-2003, John worked in brand management, gaining experience in marketing and general business management. He was an Associate Product Manager at Colgate-Palmolive, an Associate Marketing Manager at Clorox, and a Brand Manager at Riverdeep Interactive.
While in law school, John externed for the Honorable Harry D. Leinenweber of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He also interned in the criminal division of the United States Attorney's Office in Chicago and the civil division of the United States Attorney's office in Sacramento. |
