CHICAGO, October 4, 2017 – Butler Rubin is among the nearly 200 buildings and businesses in Chicago participating in the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation’s Light the Way to Find a Cure campaign. For the month of October, Butler Rubin will be flying a pink ribbon flag in its offices.  The campaign allows Chicago buildings, landmarks and businesses to illuminate pink, fly pink flags or simply “go pink” to remind Chicagoans of the importance of breast self-exams, annual mammograms and being proactive about your health.

Butler Rubin was also a proud sponsor of the Lynn Sage 2017 Fall Benefit Luncheon on Monday, October 2nd at the Hilton Chicago featuring breast cancer survivor and activist Kathy Bates.

Formed in 1980, Chicago-based Butler Rubin assists clients nationally and internationally in complex business disputes, including antitrust law, class actions, defense of corporate directors and officers, labor and employment law, reinsurance, insurance, healthcare litigation, and insolvency.

Since its inception in 1985, the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation (LSCRF) has raised over $32 million toward advancing the understanding of breast cancer.  For the last 26 years, LSCRF has been affiliated with Northwestern Medicine, helping to fund research at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center in novel treatments, education and early detection of breast cancer.  LSCRF also funds fellowships in areas such as breast surgery, breast imaging, hematology/oncology and pathology to ensure that more patients have access to professionals with advanced training in the treatment of breast cancer.  For more information on the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, go to www.lynnsage.org, Facebook or Twitter.
