Butler Rubin Partner James Morsch Receives Lexology/International Law Office 2016 Client Choice Insurance Award for Illinois

CHICAGO, February 18, 2016 – Butler Rubin partner James Morsch is the recipient of a Lexology/International Law Office (ILO) 2016 Client Choice Award for Insurance (Illinois), which recognizes excellence in client service.  Morsch is a commercial litigator focusing on complex and high-stakes litigation.  Among other clients, he represents insurance companies in disputes with other insurers and policyholders.

The Client Choice awards recognize partners for their ability to add real value to clients’ business, above and beyond other attorneys in their industry. Partners can only be nominated for the award by corporate counsel.  Winners were selected based upon independent research conducted by Lexology and ILO.  Clients were asked to rate a pool of more than 2,000 candidates on a range of client service criteria, including overall quality of legal advice, commercial awareness, effective communication and sharing of expertise.

Morsch, Butler Rubin’s Pro Bono Partner, will participate in a panel discussion on Friday, March 4 during the E Pluribus Unum: The Immigration Conundrum Seventh Circuit Bar Association Conference exploring immigration issues from birthright and nativism to border security and due process.

Formed in 1980, Chicago-based Butler Rubin has established itself as a well-known law firm assisting clients nationally and internationally in complex business disputes, including antitrust law; class actions; defense of corporate directors and officers; labor and employment law; reinsurance; insurance; healthcare litigation; and insolvency.
