Butler Rubin Sponsors CBF’s 2017 Passport to Chicago

CHICAGO, April 28, 2017 – Butler Rubin is a proud sponsor of the Chicago Bar Foundation’s 4th Annual Passport to Chicago event on April 28, 2017 at Kendall College.  Andrea Gordon, Director of Marketing, is a current member of CBF’s Board of Directors.

This event celebrates Chicago’s emerging culinary stars while highlighting the work of CBF-supported organizations throughout the city. Guests will enjoy tastings representing different Chicago neighborhoods, conceived and prepared by members of the Kendall College Competition Club.  Guests and a panel of local celebrity judges will vote to crown the evening’s top chefs!

As the largest voluntarily supported bar foundation in the country, the CBF’s work is made possible by the generous contributions of thousands of dedicated individuals, more than 200 law firms and corporations, and many other committed partners. Thanks to that strong support, the CBF awards about $3 million in grants each year and continues to play a lead role in a number of innovative access to justice initiatives.

Formed in 1980, Chicago-based Butler Rubin assists clients nationally and internationally in complex business disputes, including antitrust law, class actions, defense of corporate directors and officers, labor and employment law, reinsurance, insurance, healthcare litigation, and insolvency.
