Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth is a 501(c)3 organization that channels the legal community’s resources to promote mentoring and tutoring programs in disadvantaged Chicago communities. It was created by The Chicago Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Foundation in dedication to the lasting memory and generosity of the Honorable Judge Abraham Lincoln Marovitz, Judge “Abe.”  The Chicago Bar Foundation, with the leadership of the Chicago Bar Association, initiated the Lend-A-Hand Program in 1995 and it has continued to evolve ever since. Since its inception, the Lend-A-Hand program has encouraged the legal community’s support and furtherance of exceptional mentoring programs for disadvantaged youth in the Chicago area. The Program invites attorneys to volunteer their time as mentors, tutors, or Board Members with numerous agencies throughout the city.

Formed in 1980, Chicago-based Butler Rubin assists clients nationally and internationally in complex business disputes, including antitrust law, class actions, defense of corporate directors and officers, labor and employment law, reinsurance, insurance, healthcare litigation, and insolvency.
