Catherine Isely Named Among Influential Women in Re/Insurance by Intelligent Insurer

CHICAGO, January 7, 2019 – Catherine Isely, a partner at the Chicago-based law firm Butler Rubin Saltarelli & Boyd LLP has been named to Intelligent Insurer’s list of Influential Women in Re/Insurance 2018. This list features female executives excelling in and changing the risk transfer industry.

Butler Rubin partner Teresa Snider, a 2017 recipient of this award, was invited to write the forward for this year’s publication.

Isely concentrates her practice in the insurance, reinsurance and complex commercial litigation areas. From 2008-2018, she has been recognized as a leading lawyer in reinsurance litigation by Chambers USA. Isely was recognized in the 2018 edition of The Legal 500 United States as a “recommended” leading attorney in Insurance: Advice to Insurers. As part of the Law Bulletin Publishing Group’s 2015-2019 surveys of the top lawyers in the state, Isely was designated a “Leading Lawyer” in Illinois in Insurance, Insurance Coverage and Reinsurance Law. Isely is also a co-founder of Women in Reinsurance.
