Dan Cotter and Catherine Isely to Speak at AIRROC/IAIR Issues Forum

CHICAGO, July 18, 2017 Butler Rubin partners Daniel Cotter and Catherine Isely will be speaking at the joint AIRROC/IAIR Issues Forum on August 7, 2017 in Philadelphia.  Their remarks will cover “Legal Roundup:  Recent Court Holdings and Developments in Insurance, Reinsurance and Arbitration Case Law.”  This program is being held in conjunction with the Summer 2017 Meeting of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.

Cotter is a sought-after speaker on topics ranging from insurance to cyber security law and data protection. And in 2016, Cotter earned his CIPP/US, a Certified Information Privacy Professional designation for the U.S. private-sector from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.  Cotter served as President of the Chicago Bar Association in 2014-2015.

Isely has extensive experience before courts and arbitration panels litigating insurance, reinsurance and complex commercial disputes. She speaks frequently on reinsurance issues at industry programs and is a founding member and co-host of Butler Rubin’s annual Women in Reinsurance Program. Isely has been recognized as a leading lawyer in reinsurance litigation by Chambers USA and Leading Lawyers.
