Sue Benton Joins Butler Rubin as a Partner

Susan M. Benton has joined the Chicago law firm Butler Rubin Saltarelli & Boyd LLP as a partner, where she will concentrate her practice in labor and employment law.

Prior to joining Butler Rubin, Benton was a partner at Winston & Strawn and Greensfelder, where she represented clients in labor and employment counseling and litigation matters, including employment discrimination, employment law counseling and training, employment contracts and litigation, labor relations, collective bargaining, and employer internal investigations.

Benton previously managed human resource functions, including employee communications, executive training and development, and executive recruitment, for a division of a major department store and for a financial services company.

In addition to her legal practice, Benton serves as a Trustee for The Field Museum and is Chair of its Repatriation Committee and a Member of its Science Action and Collection Committees.

A graduate of Boston University School of Law, Benton received her B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
