Teresa Snider Recognized by Corporate Counsel National Women in Law Awards

CHICAGO, August 15, 2018 – Teresa Snider, a partner and member of the Management Committee at the Chicago-based law firm Butler Rubin Saltarelli & Boyd LLP, has been selected by Corporate Counsel as a 2018 National Women in Law honoree.  Snider will be recognized by Corporate Counsel at its awards dinner on October 3rd as part of their Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference in Washington, D.C.  These awards honor general counsel, in-house leaders and law firm partners who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law.

Snider concentrates her practice in insurance and reinsurance arbitration, litigation, and related insolvency issues. She is a member of Butler Rubin’s Management Committee and was recognized by Business Insurance as a 2017 Women to Watch and named to Intelligent Insurer’s list of the Most Influential Women in Re/Insurance 2017.  Snider is a 1992 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, magna cum laude, and joined Butler Rubin in 1994 after a federal district court clerkship.  She regularly speaks on insurance and reinsurance industry topics in the U.S. and U.K.

Snider has been named among America’s Leading 500 Lawyers by Lawdragon and cited for excellence by Chambers USA, Legal 500, Illinois Super Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America and Leading Lawyers, among other accolades. Snider co-chairs Butler Rubin’s Women in Reinsurance program.
