Andrew Foreman Named a Partner at Butler Rubin

CHICAGO, January 22, 2018 – Associate Andrew Foreman has been named a partner at Chicago law firm Butler Rubin Saltarelli & Boyd LLP. Foreman joined Butler Rubin in 2011 after working as an associate at Daley Mohan Groble in Chicago and previously as an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.

Foreman has represented clients in a wide range of complex commercial and civil litigation proceedings. His work has included representing an insurer in a billion-dollar lawsuit alleging fraud and breach of contract, a reinsurer in a dispute involving tens of millions in death benefits paid under variable annuity contracts, a national marketing firm in a restrictive covenant dispute with a former employee, an international law firm in a dispute with a former partner, a cedent in a dispute over tens of millions in billings connected with a post-settlement allocation, a third-party health benefits administrator in a case involving claims under ERISA, a reinsurer in a dispute concerning expenses billed in excess of facultative reinsurance limits, a receiver in a number of commercial foreclosures, and several Class I railroads in a range of different matters.

A 2001 magna cum laude graduate of Brown University, Foreman earned his law degree at The University of Chicago Law School in 2008, where he was the Managing Editor of The University of Chicago Legal Forum.
